How do you install PVC flooring in a converted vehicle?

First of all, you need to have a floor in your Renault Trafic 3 (since 2014).

Take a 500 ml high-performance contact adhesive spray (sold separately on our website) and your pre-cut Trafic 3 floor.

To lay your PVC flooring:

Step 1: Clean/degrease the floor in your vehicle and unscrew the metal sill bars if your floor is fitted with them.

Step 2: Unroll the pre-cut flooring inside your van and adjust its position in relation to the floor.

Step 3: Fold half the floor towards the front of the vehicle to reveal half the floor.

Step 4: Apply the professional contact adhesive at a distance of around 10 cm on the back of the floor and on the reverse side of the vinyl floor. Wait a few seconds and carefully place the vinyl floor on the floor.

Step 5: Fold the front of the floor over the back. Apply the adhesive to the floor and the vinyl floor. Wait a few seconds and carefully fold the front part of the vinyl floor over the floor.

Step 6: At the rear of the vehicle, use a cutter to cut out the part of the vinyl that is sticking out, following the shape of the floor

Step 6: Replace the sill bars in their respective places. We recommend shortening/cutting the vinyl by a few millimetres where the sill bars are located. This will make it easier to fit the bars and avoid wrinkles in the floor.
