A robust and attractive pre-cut floor!

This top-of-the-range, heterogeneous PVC floor covering has been designed to withstand foot traffic, heavy footfall and knocks without fear. If, for example, you drop something in your converted van, your floor won't budge!

This 2.15 mm thick pre-cut flexible floor, chosen by Heode, is made up of different layers, giving it excellent technical performance. It can be found in gymnasiums, hospitals, schools, station waiting rooms, etc.

How do you go about installing PVC flooring in a converted van?

Beforehand, you need to have laid a birch plywood floor with a 220g/m² anti-slip film in 9 or 12 mm thickness (your choice) for Peugeot Expert / Citroën Jumpy / Toyota Proace (since 2016) and Opel Vivaro (since 2019).

Once your floor covering has been installed, take a 500 ml high-performance contact adhesive spray (sold separately on our website) and your pre-cut floor.

To lay the PVC floor :

Step 1: Before unrolling the floor and applying the high-performance contact adhesive. Unscrew the metal threshold bars on the birch plywood floor to remove them. Once removed, place them in a corner.

Step 2: Unroll the pre-cut flooring on the floor inside your van.

Step 3: Fold the back of the floor over the front.

Step 4: Apply the professional contact adhesive at a distance of around 10 cm on the rear part of the floor and then on the folded back part of the pre-cut floor.

Step 5: Carefully lay the glued back of the floor over the glued back of the floor.

Step 6: Fold the front part of the floor over the rear part (now glued).

Step 7: Take up the glue. Apply it to the front part of the floor and then to the folded front part of the pre-cut floor.

Step 8: Carefully lay the glued front part of the floor over the glued front part of the floor.

Step 9: Leave to dry. You'll be able to drive around in your vehicle in a few minutes.

Step 10: Screw each of the metal sill bars back into place.

Final step: Admire the result! A top-quality floor with the decor of your choice that will follow you on all your van adventures!
