Yes, you read that right, but there are 2 ways of installing it:

• Without gluing, in this case, in 1 minute, the floor is laid on your VW T6 floor.
• With gluing, in which case 10 to 15 minutes of work are required for optimum installation.

The Heode team recommends gluing for the simple reason that you'll get an ideal finish and get the most out of its qualities. Note that it is packaged in rolls for easy transport and installation.

If you accidentally drop something on this 2.15 mm thick PVC floor, there will be no wear marks and dirt can be easily wiped off with a clean cloth. It's important to note that this type of flooring is widely used in sports halls, crèches, libraries and care units.

How do I install flooring in a Volkswagen T6?

First of all, a birch plywood floor with anti-slip film of 220gr/m² in 9 or 12 mm thickness (your choice) for Volkswagen T6 (from 2015 to 2019) must be installed.

Once your floor covering has been installed, you'll need a 500 ml professional spray contact adhesive (sold separately on our website) and your pre-cut T6 floor.

To lay the PVC floor:

Step 1: Before unrolling the floor and applying the high-performance contact adhesive. Unscrew the metal threshold bars on the birch plywood floor to remove them. Once removed, place them in a corner.

Step 2: Unroll the pre-cut flooring on the floor inside your van.

Step 3: Fold the back of the floor over the front.

Step 4: Apply the professional contact adhesive at a distance of around 10 cm on the rear part of the floor and then on the folded back part of the pre-cut floor.

Step 5: Carefully lay the glued back of the floor over the glued back of the floor.

Step 6: Fold the front part of the floor over the rear part (now glued).

Step 7: Take up the glue. Apply it to the front part of the floor and then to the folded front part of the pre-cut floor.

Step 8: Carefully lay the glued front part of the floor over the glued front part of the floor.

Step 9: Leave to dry. You'll be able to drive around in your vehicle in a few minutes.

Step 10: Screw each of the metal sill bars back into place.
