How do you pitch your Expedition XL roof tent?

The Expedition XL is compatible with all roof poles approved for a dynamic load of over 79 kg (when driving). When stationary, the static load supported is much higher and allows up to 4 adults to be accommodated without any problem.

Roof bar compatibility criteria :

• The useful width required to install the fixing system is 70 cm.

• The distance between the roof and the top of the roof bar must be greater than 5 cm to allow the fixings to be inserted.

• The width of the roof bar tube must be less than 11 cm.

Quick and easy installation

Total installation time is usually between 5 and 10 minutes. We recommend two people for ease of handling. You'll need a spanner and roof bars that have already been fitted to your vehicle.

Installation steps :

Place the bolts on either side of the crossbar.
Centre the tent in relation to the roof bars.
Place the flange around the bolts and centre it on the crossbar.
Tighten the nuts (add locknuts for an anti-theft solution).
