How do I clean the MaxxFan Crystal rooflight?

Cleaning the MaxxFan Deluxe lantern is simple and guarantees its durability. Here are the main steps:

• Switch off the power supply: Make sure you disconnect your van's 12V circuit before doing anything.
• Remove the interior screen: Turn the retaining knobs half a turn to remove the screen. This will give you access to the inside of the fan.
• Clean with mild products: Use a solution of lukewarm water and mild soap to clean the fan blades, the inside of the cover and the screen. Avoid products containing solvents or abrasive components, such as acetone, which could damage plastics.
• Rinse and dry: Wipe all surfaces with a soft, dry cloth to avoid water residue.
• Replace the screen and check: Once all the parts have been cleaned and dried, replace the screen and switch the power supply back on.

Regular cleaning, especially after use in dusty areas, ensures optimum performance and extends the life of the MaxxFan Deluxe.
