Keeping your Orisa® instant water purifier running smoothly

The UF membrane maintenance kit allows you to change the water treatment mechanism in your Orisa® purifier. Don't worry, with the help of the instructions for use and the special tools supplied, fitting the new filter is very simple!

This UF ultrafiltration membrane is made in France and has a shelf life of 5 years from the date it leaves the factory.

When should I service the filter in my ORISA® water purifier?

As with any durable mechanical system, the gradual accumulation of particles in the ultrafiltration membrane can lead to clogging, even though backwashing is effective in reducing this natural effect.

Over time, you will notice a reduction in water flow and an increase in pumping difficulty. But it's important to stress that filtration quality will remain unchanged despite these symptoms.

Reduced flow and pumping difficulties are signs that the UF membrane needs special attention. If, despite frequent backwashing and chemical cleaning, pumping remains difficult, this indicates advanced clogging.

In this case, we recommend replacing the UF membrane to restore optimum operating performance.

How do I change the filter in my Orisa® water purifier?

Everything has been designed to be simple. To help you replace the UF membrane, Fonto de Vivo provides a user guide with very clear diagrams in this Orisa® Ultrafiltration Membrane Maintenance Kit.

• 1 vacuum-packed Ultrafiltration Membrane cartridge (do not unpack before use).
• 1 T20 torx spanner
• 1 double-headed screwdriver (flat and Phillips)
• 1 removal hook
• 1 dismantling support
• 1 food hose

The service life of the Orisa® UF membrane depends on its use, the volume of water filtered, the quality of the water to be filtered and the conditions of use and maintenance.
