With a flow rate varying between 2.7 L/min at 50°C and 5 L/min at 30°C, it guarantees you hot water quickly, whatever the conditions. How to install the 30mbar water heater Carbest ? ?

Stage 1 - Preparation : Remove all components from the storage bag and place the appliance on a stable surface. Make sure that all the hoses are not bent or twisted.

Step 2 - Connecting the water : Attach the 12V DC pump cable to the electrical connection marked "pump" and connect its hose to the water inlet on the heater.

Step 3 - Connecting the gas : Connect thegas pipe (not included, sold separately on our site) to the gas inlet of the water heater and the other side to thepropane regulator orbutane regulator(not included, products sold separately on our site). Attach the regulator to the Propane or Butane gas cylinder. Tighten the fittings securely.

Step 4 - Checking for leaks : Open the gas cylinder slightly and check the connections for leaks using soapy water. If there's a leak, turn off the tap, retighten the fittings and repeat the test.

Step 5 - Preparing the water outlet : Unfold the water heater's folding tap. Assemble the shower hose and the shower head, then connect them to the faucet.

Step 6 - Power supply : Check that the water heater switch is in the "OFF" position. Connect one end of the 12V cable to the "DC Input" socket on the water heater and the other end to a suitable power source such as a 12V cigarette lighter socket.

How to operate my 30mbar gas water heater Carbest ? ?

Before and during use of your water heater, ensure that all air inlets and outlets are unobstructed. This equipment must not be used when the wind speed is greater than 10km/h. It has a safety system that will switch off the water heater if it is in operation when the wind speed is greater than 10km/h.

Now, to use your appliance correctly, carry out the following steps (or consult the user manual):

Stage 1 - Preparation : Immerse the pump in aclean water tank (not from natural sources such as rivers or lakes). Position the shower head as you see fit and make sure the flow control switch is in the "open" position.

Step 2 - Opening the gas : Turn the gas cylinder valve counter-clockwise one full turn.

Step 3 - Switching on : Turn the water heater switch to "ON". The water should start flowing within 20 seconds, then the electronic ignition should sound and light the burner (the flame is visible through the porthole at the front of the appliance).

Step 4 - Adjusting the temperature : Measure the temperature of the flowing water and adjust it using the gas control knob from the minimum heat position to the maximum heat position.

Step 5 - Interrupting the water flow : Turn the flow regulator to "OFF" to stop the water flow. The burner goes out, but the pump continues to run.

Step 6 - Re-lighting the burner : Turn the flow control back to "ON", the water will start to flow and the burner will light up within 5 seconds.

Step 7 - Overheating : If the system is switched off due to overheating of the water outlet, it will switch off automatically and cannot be restarted until it is operated manually. To restart the system, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position and wait for the water outlet temperature to drop to the 50°C limit, then turn the switch back to the "ON" position, the burner will be relit and hot water will start to flow.

Attention, when the flow is stopped, the water remaining in the heat exchanger may become hot. When the flow resumes, the user should check the outlet temperature to ensure that it is suitable for use and has not become too hot. Once the user has finished using the appliance, turn the flow regulator to the "OFF" position, then turn the "Power" switch to "OFF".

Keeping your water heater tidy Carbest gas 30mbar

• When the appliance is operating, turn the gas cylinder valve clockwise to the "OFF" position. The burner will continue to operate until all the gas has escaped from the gas pipe and regulator. Once this operation has been completed, turn off the electrical supply (set the water heater switch to "OFF").
• Disconnect the DC input (12V DC connector/cable), the 12V DC pump cable and its own hose from the heater. Hold the pump about 1 metre off the ground to allow all the water to drain before rolling it up and storing it in the carry bag.
• Remove the regulator from the butane/propane gas cylinder (which has already been closed) and then remove the gas hose from the heater. Store the assembly (regulator + gas hose) in the carry bag.
• Disconnect the shower hose from the water heater outlet. Hold the shower head (hand shower) about 1 metre off the floor to allow all the water to drain from the hose before rolling it up and storing it in the carry bag.
