What is the role of an electrical panel in a converted van?

Installing an electrical panel in your converted van will not only manage your electrical circuits, it will also protect you!

It's an essential accessory with several roles. It centralises, controls, distributes and secures your entire electrical installation.

Which electrical panel should I choose for my electrical circuits in a van?

An electrical panel can be oriented vertically or horizontally and have a number of illuminated rocker switches. It's up to you to choose the most suitable panel for your wiring diagram.

Each on/off switch is associated with a different electrical circuit and is used to power your equipment (LED spotlight, LED bar, water pump, fridge, etc.). The toggle switches on the electrical panel light up when the circuits are powered. So you can quickly see which circuits are switched on.

It's easy to understand: the more equipment you have to power, the more electrical circuits you have, the more switches you need on an electrical panel!

Each of the electrical panels on offer is pre-wired and supplied with 6 x 32 mm glass fuses. Each glass fuse protects an electrical circuit in the event of a malfunction.
