What are the uses for Würth PU 40+ construction adhesive?

Würth PU 40+ is a single-component polyurethane mastic that can be used for both bonding and sealing. Thanks to its high-performance formula, it is suitable for expansion joints, façade connections and metal construction elements, as well as for bonding various materials such as concrete, metal, wood and certain plastics.

This product is particularly popular for interior and exterior fittings because of its ability to withstand the elements and vibrations.

How do I apply Würth adhesive sealant?

step 1: Make sure the surface to which you want to apply the putty is clean, dry and free of dust, grease and any substance that could interfere with adhesion.

step 2: Using a suitable spray gun, apply PU 40+ Building Adhesive in neat beads or dots to the surface. Note that it must be used within 24 hours of opening the cartridge.

step 3: If you've used PU 40+ mastic adhesive as a sealant, remember to smooth it out (with your finger or a soft silicone spatula) a few minutes after application for an ideal finish.

step 4: Wipe away any fresh residue with a dry cloth.
