No interior space is used, and there is no visible floor modification from inside the cabin. The warm air travels through a 60 mm duct to the interior outlets. The Comfort Control panel, with its cable extension, controls the temperature from inside the cabin up to 30 °C. The controlled fuel consumption of the Autoterm Air 2D (0.10 to 0.24 L/h of diesel) and its quiet operation make it perfectly suited to long nights in a van.

⚠️ Important: This kit is designed for the Crafter 2006–2016 (Mercedes W906 platform). The Crafter from 2017 onwards is based on a new MAN platform — it has its own dedicated kit (SKU 9.396), which is not interchangeable with this one.

How to install the heating kit on a VW Crafter (2006–2016)?

The mounting bracket bolts onto the W906 chassis frame rail. The fuel connection is made without drilling the tank. The electrical cables run to the battery or the conversion's battery bank, and the duct passes through the floor to distribute warm air into the cabin.

A heating kit compatible with VASP certification
