Autoterm diesel heating kit for Renault Master XDD (2025) 

The Renault Master XDD launched in 2025 represents a significant generational break from the Master produced from 2010 to 2024: new chassis architecture, new tank system, modified under-body geometry. Kits designed for the previous generation are not compatible. This Autoterm heating kit is specifically developed for the Master XDD from 2025 onwards, with a heater sized to fit: Air 2D (2 kW) for L1H1 and L2H2 formats, Air 4D (4 kW) for the larger lengths L3H3 and L4H3.

In both cases, external under-chassis installation in a protective housing, controlled via the Comfort Control panel from inside the cabin. For the L1H1/L2H2, the Air 2D distributes warm air through a 60 mm duct with a consumption of 0.10 to 0.24 L/h of diesel. For the L3H3/L4H3, the Air 4D delivers up to 4 kW and an airflow of up to 168 m³/h through a 90 mm duct — sized for the large volumes of the long-wheelbase XDD version.

Certified E2-10R and E2-122R, VASP compatible. 2-year warranty, extendable to 3 years with installation by an approved Autoterm professional.

How to install the heating kit on a Renault Master XDD?

The mounting housing bolts onto the XDD chassis frame rail and protects the heating unit from debris. The dedicated fuel tapping connects to the Master XDD fuel circuit without drilling the tank. The electrical cables run to the battery or the battery bank. For SKU 9.399_L1L2, the 60 mm duct passes through the floor to distribute warm air. For SKU 9.399_L2L3 (Air 4D), the duct is Ø 90 mm — the Ø 96-90 mm air outlet adapter is included in the kit.

A heating kit compatible with VASP certification

The Autoterm Air 2D and the Autoterm Air 4D are both certified E2-10R and E2-122R. These European standards are mandatory for the VASP type approval of an independent heater in a converted vehicle. The conformity certificates are supplied by Autoterm and must be presented to the inspector during the inspection.
