Which LONGBOARD unit is suitable for installation near the wheel arch?

This universal base unit for right-hand sliding doors has been designed to be placed to the right of the LB103 central base unit (generally located in front of the wheel arch) in the living area of your converted van. The LB103 and LB102 base units have been designed for efficient assembly.

The LB102 low pedestal designed by Heode is unique in that it can be fitted with a door that slides to the right (door closed). The only condition is that it must be assembled with the LB103 central pedestal to enable it to operate. Without the LB103 base unit, the LB102 base unit cannot accommodate the sliding door intended for it. Note that the door is formed by the interlocking of the P5 + P12 door fronts.

Once assembled, the LB103 and LB102 base units form a duo. The LB101 left-hand sliding door bottom panel can also be added to this duo to form a trio. And whether you choose a duo or trio combination, you can add shelves (ET1) to create several levels of storage.

All the structural parts of the base units are made of 15mm-thick birch plywood, so they won't look out of place!

Which LONGBOARD base and/or wall units should I use to configure my LB102 base unit?

The Heode team will help you assemble your LB102 low box to form a duo or trio:

• lB103 central pedestal for wheel arch + LB102 pedestal for sliding door to the right
• base pedestal for sliding door to left LB101 + central base pedestal for wheel arch LB103 + base pedestal for sliding door to right LB102

To use different storage surfaces, shelves (ET1) can be added inside your LB102 low pedestal. Keep your van's interior space tidy!

LB102 low pedestal strengths

Modularity: Combinations in duo or trio are possible with the low pedestal for right-hand sliding doors (as seen above), or with the LB105 high pedestal.

Optimising space: This LB102 low pedestal is generally the one located in the centre of the lower part of the LONGBOARD side cabinet in a vehicle. It will hide the front part of the wheel arch. Installing shelves (ET1) increases storage capacity on several levels!

Practicality: Thanks to its clever sliding door (formed by door fronts P5 + P12), you'll have easy access to your personal belongings stored in this low box.

Easy to assemble: all the necessary screws and bolts are supplied, along with detailed assembly instructions to make installation a breeze!
