How do I apply Osmo coloured oil wax to my flat-pack furniture for my van?

Before starting to paint with the transparent white oil wax, check that all raw wood panels of your flat-pack furniture are clean, dry and free from moisture.

For your furniture to absorb all the benefits of this finishing oil wax, our team advises you to follow these steps:

• Sand with 120 or 150 grit.
• Thoroughly clean up sawdust and residue caused by sanding with a vacuum cleaner.
• Stir the pot of Osmo coloured oil wax before application. (Ready to use, do not dilute.)
• Check that the panels to be treated with oil wax are clean.
• Apply a thin first coat of Osmo transparent white oil wax using a flat brush to each panel of the furniture you wish to maintain. If your flat-pack furniture is already assembled, remember to use a cutting-in brush to paint the edges and corners neatly.
• Allow to dry for 8 to 10 hours in a ventilated area.
• Apply a second coat, still using a flat brush.
• Allow to dry.
• And apply a final coat if needed (optional).

We recommend using a mask and safety goggles for the sanding step.
