Materials used in the construction of the LongBed folding bed

The LongBed is made from birch plywood 15 mm thick. This material was specifically chosen for its exceptional qualities in the context of van fitting out: it is at once incredibly resistant, stable against temperature and humidity variations, and above all lightweight — which is crucial to avoid adding unnecessary weight to your vehicle.

You can choose from a range of HPL laminated finish colours — literally the best quality laminate available.

The base of the furniture — namely the structural parts that are not exposed to knocks and splashes — is made from raw wood, a simple way to offer you more affordable prices without compromising on quality!

How do you maintain Heode furniture?

No special maintenance is required — isn't that great? It will resist knocks, scratches and other marks. And in the latter case, a simple wipe with a damp sponge will restore it to its original appearance.

Is the LongBed easy to assemble?

Yes, absolutely. One of our goals is to make van fitting out accessible to everyone. Thanks to the numbered parts and the detailed instruction manual, assembling the furniture is straightforward and requires no particular DIY skills. In addition, the LongBed 140 comes with its easy-fit kit, which makes it fully removable.

Quick-release fixing kit for the LongBed 120 and 140 cm (sold separately)

Remember to get this innovative mounting system — designed to ensure optimal stability of your LongBed furniture on your vehicle floor while preserving its flexibility of use! It allows you to quickly secure and remove your fit-out without needing any complex tools after the initial installation.

Thanks to the ergonomic butterfly screws, you can fix or remove the LongBed by hand, with just a few turns of a screw. This solution ensures your furniture stays firmly anchored during transit while remaining removable.

In order to install it, your vehicle must be fitted with a wooden floor with a minimum thickness of 9 mm.

Please note: The initial installation will require a few tools (a drill, a screwdriver, an Allen key and a pencil) to prepare the floor. Once the inserts are in place and the fixing brackets are mounted on the furniture, the LongBed can be fully dismantled and reassembled without any tools.

Is the LongBed compatible with my vehicle?

The LongBed has been designed to offer near-universal compatibility with the majority of light commercial vehicles and converted vans on the road in France. Its 120 cm width is a standard that fits perfectly into the most common sizes, whether compact models or large vans. Once unfolded, it will suit all commercial vehicles with a loading length of at least 190 cm.

The seat passes over the wheel arches, allowing you to place it wherever you wish.
