Its corrugated anodised aluminium step provides reliable grip even in wet weather or on uneven ground, while its lightweight design (4.7 kg) does not add unnecessary weight to your fit-out. With a width of 406 mm and a maximum load of 200 kg, this retractable step is equally suited to stepping in loaded with bags or climbing down with a child in your arms. Once closed, the automatic lock prevents any accidental deployment on the road, ensuring total safety both on the move and when stationary. Its rounded, phosphorescent corners also make it easier to spot the step in the dark — a real bonus when arriving late at a bivouac spot.

How to install the manual pull-out step?

Installation is carried out beneath the threshold of the side or sliding door of your vehicle. Start by choosing, from the four available mounting heights (9, 35, 62 or 88 mm), the one that best matches the ground clearance of your van. Then position the housing and its brackets, and drill and fix using fixings appropriate to your bodywork. On any drilled sheet metal areas, applying an anti-rust treatment before final fixing will provide lasting protection against corrosion. Finish by checking that the locking mechanism engages correctly in the closed position before setting off again.
