How to clean the MaxxFan Crystal roof light?

Cleaning the MaxxFan Deluxe roof light is straightforward and ensures its longevity. Here are the main steps:

• Cut the power supply: Make sure to disconnect the 12V circuit of your converted van before any handling.
• Remove the interior mosquito net: Turn the retaining knobs half a turn to remove the mosquito net screen. This gives you access to the inside of the fan.
• Clean with gentle products: Use a solution of warm water and mild soap to clean the fan blades, the inside of the cover and the mosquito net. Avoid any products containing solvents or abrasive components, such as acetone, which could damage the plastics.
• Rinse and dry: Wipe all surfaces with a soft, dry cloth to avoid water residue.
• Replace the mosquito net and check: Once all parts are cleaned and dry, refit the mosquito net and reactivate the power supply.
