Specially adapted for solar panels installed on the roof of your converted van, this waterproof and easy-to-install solar charge controller is ideal for deep-cycle batteries such as Lead, AGM or GEL.
The MPPT 201224 technology works by constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of solar panels, ensuring maximum recovery of the energy produced for storage in 12V or 24V batteries. Whereas conventional controllers simply reduce the voltage of the solar panel to keep the charging current constant, the MPPT controller converts this voltage loss into a higher charging current!
