Énergie Mobile MPPT Solar Charge Controller: protect and charge your battery at full power

A solar panel on the roof is great. An MPPT charge controller between that panel and your battery is essential. Without one, charging is poorly managed and your battery ages prematurely. The Énergie Mobile MPPT IP range solves this problem once and for all: thanks to MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking), these charge controllers continuously exploit the optimal voltage of your solar panels to deliver the maximum charge current to your auxiliary battery — with an efficiency gain of 15 to 40% compared to a conventional PWM controller.

Two models are available depending on your system configuration: the MPPT1212, dedicated to 12 V systems, and the MPPT201224, capable of automatically detecting the system voltage and operating at 12 V or 24 V. Both share the same strengths: IP67 waterproof protection, an ultra-compact pre-wired enclosure from the factory, LED indicator lights for quick diagnostics, and compatibility with all battery types on the market (flooded lead-acid, AGM, GEL, and LiFePO4 lithium with Énergie Mobile BMS). Fitted in a converted van, they easily find their place even in a tight enclosure space. The MPPT1212BT model (Bluetooth option) adds real-time monitoring from your phone.

How to install the Énergie Mobile MPPT IP solar charge controller?

The MPPT IP comes pre-wired from the factory to simplify installation: connect the panel cable (positive + negative) to the solar input, then connect the battery output to your auxiliary battery, observing correct polarity. A rated fuse must be fitted between the controller and the battery (15 A for the MPPT1212, cable cross-section 4 to 6 mm²). The controller should preferably be placed away from direct heat, inside the van or in a ventilated compartment. No software tool is required for basic configuration: settings are made directly on the device.
