This flush-mounted socket is connected to the 3 wires of the R02-V 3G2.5mm² electrical cable, then installed in a flush-mounted box and screwed down.

Once installed and covered with a white, black or water green cover plate, a 2P+T (Phase, Neutral, Earth) flush-mounted socket outlet like this allows you to connect your electrical appliances to the 230V mains supply in complete safety! It provides a stable 230V supply while incorporating an earthing system to protect your appliances against the risk of overvoltage or short-circuit.

How do you install a power socket?

Before installing one or more power sockets, you first need to install a flush-mounted box for 1 or more stations, depending on your requirements. A few tools are needed for installation: 1 wire cutter, 1 wire stripper and 1 flathead screwdriver.

Step 1: For your own safety, make sure none of the electrical equipment is switched on (turn off the power at the circuit breaker). Grab and strip a few mm of the 3G2.5mm² cable. Then strip the 3 wires (blue; yellow and green; brown) to a length of 11mm each. As a reminder, the conductor with the blue sheath is neutral, the conductor with the brown sheath is phase and the conductor with the yellow and green sheaths is earth.

Step 2: Once you've stripped your 3 conductors, insert each one as far as it will go into its respective terminal at the back of the socket. If you need to disconnect a conductor, simply press the push-button on its terminal and remove it.

Step 3: Once you've connected the conductors to the terminals correctly and without making any mistakes, place the plug in the flush-mounted box and screw it in the places provided. To dress up your plug, clip on a white, black or water green cover plate (sold separately on our website).

Installation of your 230V socket is now complete! The white or black finish of this flush-mounted socket will add a modern, sober touch to the interior living space of your converted van. Don't worry, it will match the tone of your interior perfectly!

The support for this flush-mounted mains socket has been designed so that you can fit several of them in a row, either horizontally or vertically. For example, if you choose to install 2 sockets, you can fit the brackets for these 2 together and then install them in a 2-station flush-mounted box.
