• Work light
• Würth tape measure
• White chalk or permanent white marker (To make it easier to visualise your markings for future cuts.)
• Würth disposable gloves (optional)
• Clean cloth or professional paper towel (Required for applying the armaflex cleaner.)
• Cleaner 1L Armaflex (Remember to wear a mask to avoid inhaling the odours given off by this cleaning product. We strongly advise applying armaflex cleaner to the sheet metal of your van outdoors. It can also be used to clean your tools after use.)
• Würth cutter or Armaflex cutting knife kit
• Armaflex af rolls in the thickness of your choice depending on the surface to be covered: ceiling, side walls, floor
• Adhesive insulation strip(s) 15m armaflex af (This product is also available in 30m. To be used for joints.)

Step 1:

Using the armaflex cleaner 1L product, thoroughly clean all the interior sheet metal of the van. To ensure the long-term adhesion of the self-adhesive armaflex roll and benefit from high-performance insulation, this important step must not be overlooked.

Step 2:

Get ready to measure, mark, cut, and peel — starting from a corner — the transparent film protecting the powerful adhesive. Then carefully apply pieces of the af armaflex 10mm roll to all the sheet metal parts of your van that you wish to insulate. Most of the reinforcements can be insulated, as the sheet metal is indeed accessible at the back of the reinforcements. We recommend insulating those that are not accessible by filling them with armaflex flakes.

Step 3:

To complete all the joints, it will also be necessary to use armaflex af adhesive tape in a 15m or 30m roll. It exists to complement the airtightness of your insulation.

Armaflex ACE, also known as armaflex Accoflex, is a flexible insulation designed to be applied outdoors. Its material is composed of copolymer and polyolefin. Its primary use is the protection of pipework. It should be noted that armaflex ACE does not reach the technological specifications of armaflex AF, and that it may contain particles potentially harmful to health.

Entry-level Armaflex XG or Armaflex ACE Plus
