What oil should I use to protect my raw wood interior furniture?

Choose TopOil Osmo, made from natural vegetable oils and waxes, to treat the surfaces of your raw plywood furniture.

How do I apply TopOil to my van furniture?

Before applying TopOil, make sure that all the raw wood surfaces of your kit van furniture are clean, dry and free of moisture.

To ensure that your furniture benefits from all the advantages of this finishing oil, it will be necessary to carry out the following steps:

• Sand with 120 or 150 grit.
• Vacuum up any sawdust and residue left over from sanding.
• Mix the jar of TopOil Osmo before applying. (Ready to use, do not dilute)
• Check that the surfaces to be treated with TopOil are clean.
• Using a clean, lint-free cloth, thinly apply a first coat of TopOil Mat to each of the furniture surfaces you wish to cover.
• Leave to dry for 8 to 10 hours in a ventilated area.
• Apply a second coat, again using a clean cloth.
• Leave to dry.
• If necessary, apply a final coat (optional).

The Heode team recommends that you use a mask and protective goggles during the sanding stage.
