Which oil should I use to protect my indoor raw wood furniture?

How do I apply TopOil to my converted van furniture?

Before each application of TopOil, first ensure that all raw wood surfaces of your flat-pack furniture are clean, dry and free from moisture.

For your furniture to benefit from all the advantages of this finishing oil, the following steps are necessary:

• Sand with 120 or 150 grit.
• Clean thoroughly with a vacuum cleaner to remove the sawdust and residue from sanding.
• Stir the Osmo TopOil container before application. (Ready to use, do not dilute.)
• Check that the surfaces to be treated with TopOil are clean.
• Apply thinly with a clean lint-free cloth, a first coat of TopOil Matt on each surface of the furniture you wish to cover.
• Leave to dry for 8 to 10 hours in a ventilated area.
• Apply a second coat, again using a clean cloth.
• Leave to dry.
• And apply a final coat if needed (optional).

The Heode team recommends using a mask and safety glasses for the sanding stage.
