No forced-air heater in your van? You don't need one to have hot water at 2.3 bar. The Pundmann Therm electric water heater operates completely independently: plugged into your 12V, 24V or 230V circuit, its heating element heats water to over 70°C and switches off automatically once the target temperature is reached — with no intervention required. Its stainless steel tank with polyester coating withstands the humidity and daily vibrations of van life, for exceptional longevity. Available in 3, 6 and 9 litres, the Therm range suits all van lifer profiles and every space constraint.

The 2.3 bar working pressure, protected by a safety valve at 3 bar, ensures a comfortable flow rate at the shower or tap. Winter draining is done simply by opening the brass cap after cutting the power supply. The Ø10 mm water connection is standard and compatible with the majority of 12V water pumps on the market. Each model is available in 12V, 24V and 230V to suit your setup.

The three variants of the Pundmann Therm range:

How to install the Pundmann Therm electric water heater?

The tank must be installed and kept horizontally — this is imperative. Secure it using the mounting frame, clamping straps and Ø5 mm opening handles provided. Connect the cold water inlet and hot water outlet via quality Ø10 mm hoses. Connect the power cable to your 12V, 24V or 230V circuit.

Fill the tank completely before switching on for the first time — it is full when water flows from the hot water connector. To drain before frost or prolonged inactivity, cut the power supply then open the brass cap and a water tap to empty the circuit. Recommended complementary products: 12V water pump and flexible Ø10 mm connection hoses.
