Choosing the right Fiamma equipment for a van

Awning: start with the mounting

On a van, the awning is fitted using mounting brackets specific to the vehicle model (Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Transporter…). First check that a kit is available for your van. Then choose the awning length according to the vehicle size (L1, L2, L3) and the position of the side door.

Rooflight: start with the cut-out

Fiamma rooflights fit into a standard-sized roof opening, either 28 x 28 cm or 40 x 40 cm depending on the model. Before cutting, measure the available space between the roof crossmembers. For an electric model (fan, lighting), check that it complies with ECE R10 if you are seeking VASP approval.

Bike rack: start with the vehicle

Each Carry-Bike is designed for a specific vehicle. Choose the version that matches your van, then check the maximum permitted load, especially if you are carrying electric bikes.
