Description
A clean heater starts with filtered air
Whenever you drive on dirt tracks, park in a field, or bivouac in sandy areas, your Autoterm Air 2D diesel heater or Air 4D draws in ambient air to fuel its combustion. Without protection, dust, particles, and debris enter directly into the combustion chamber — with real consequences for the longevity and performance of the heater.
This Autoterm air intake filter mounts at the end of the intake pipe. Its role: to intercept impurities upstream, before they reach the burner. The result is cleaner combustion, reduced maintenance, and a longer-lasting heater.
Supplied with two W4 stainless steel hose clamps, it fits Ø 24 mm and Ø 26 mm diameters — the standard intake sizes for Autoterm Air and Flow heaters. Installation is quick: attach the filter to the existing intake pipe, tighten the clamps, and it's in place.
The filter should be replaced periodically, depending on frequency of use and parking conditions. For off-road enthusiasts or those heading to dusty destinations, regular replacement is particularly recommended. A replacement element is available separately.
