• An interior mounting frame (wooden counter-frame) if the thickness of your roof is less than 27 mm or to ensure a clean finish on the inside.

Key installation steps :

1. Preparation : If you do not have an opening, carefully mark and cut an opening of 400 x 400 mm in your roof. Treat the cut metal with a rust inhibitor.
2. Cleaning : Thoroughly degrease the roof surface where the skylight will be fitted.
3. Waterproofing : Apply a generous and even bead of Sikaflex sealant around the lower perimeter of the skylight frame.
4. Positioning : Carefully place the skylight over the opening.
5. Fixing : From the inside, screw the supplied inner frame into the outer frame. Tighten gradually and in a cross pattern to compress the sealant evenly.
6. Finishing : Remove excess sealant on the outside for a clean seal.
